the effect i was going for...one shot one..shoot
a simple way to focus on the background
intentional centering...yet not perfectly symmetrical b/c of the window panel :)
beauty in the mundane...see the art, feel the art..but don't fart
all of this 'like you're there effect' from the dirty window w/o using a filter even! very representative and stirring
what feeling does this bring to you? i feel it represents loneliness and solitude and the greyness makes it colder
not as happily depressing
great perspective, good framing and use of light (look closely in the back)..good stuff
you could fly a model airplane in here
too many movers and shakers in a row in your presentation can be unsettling but taken one a time in amongst some clear ones works better
note the skewed purposeful angle and offcenter framing
the closest some people will get to..um the louvre ..art
glad things aren't all the same shade all the time
i should have put more distance between his head and the passageway frame
breaking pattern in otherwise symmetry
can't resist a lighting opportunity shot like this. if you have a tripod and good camera, the louvre should be a top destination
pulling out my camera for another shot that i saw in my head first
w/o photoshop...just don't do this all the time or show it to your family (just shakeys alone)..do with a purpose
i was moving fast here b/c it was cold out
i should have slowed down to hold steadier
make the photo ops yourself and don't necessarily go for the same kodak splot everyone else does
note the low angle...i like doing this..forcing something into the foreground to create greater depth of field
i thought they were small in japan
