this would be great with a film or better quality digital camera, plus i would have more control over all aspects of the exposure
note the quality loss due to the lower level digital capture
wouldn't this be awesome with a better camera? but notice how i'm using perspective to paint a story
dramatic lighting and dark people give them an ominous presence
another version closer to the ground...don't be afraid to crouch down to get a shot if you know what you're doing
ooh i wish i had a medium format camera now!
a little blurry from camera shake but still..
good potential..
a higher resolution digital camera with better lens will be able to capture more detail than i can here...the camera is limiting
...still it's capturing some of the depth and shades..this would be stunning using the export to HDR feature with a tripod and great camera
i tried setting the exposure off of the candles here and another one off of darker area hence making the lighter candles really light
how many people passing by that day would have caught this shot? maybe one other? learn to see what others can't...look at things differently..
magniferous (is that a word?)
easy use of perspective
quasimodo..where r u?
since you can't always capture the big picture..catch what you can from different angles
i love to look for spilling or bleeding light
if this isn't europe i don't know what is!
when shooting landmarks...always get the big picture perspective shot and then you can go in to look for dif. ways to represent it's detail..
what could this mean? are the pigeons migrating towards bread? should i call them 'lawyer'?
ahh..paris
sometimes this non-prof. camera works to my advantage to portray more of what i wanted it to...i think this evokes emotion
look for unrealism in the seeming normal
getting a foreground object off center in your frame can work well...i can hide that white bulb in photoshop
this one is powerful...i love it. the use of line and perspective is awesome
the darkness almost looks rich here...perspective again...look down interesting alleyways
